These are my three favorite virtual worlds that I had encountered.

** I was having difficulty with the Meshmoon program, that is why i was not able to join my teammates.**

Before and After

Here is the before and after of my picture. I had first make both Alex and I shirt a different color yellow and pink. I then air brushed the floor with the color blue and then filled in the floor with a dark blue.

Meshmoon Exploration

In this virtual world we were under water.

This world was called bubble factory.

We were able to enter this very open home.

we went to the circus!

This is the summer landscape virtual world.

A Virtual Site of a Historic landmark in Colorado

In this video they are talking about this history of Bent's Old Fort. They also explain how students are working on this project and publicize the historic location more then it already is. Bent's old fort has been around since the 1800's and those who take a part in the Fort and keeping its historic value are very excited to see how the virtual look of the Fort will turn out.

Also there is a restaurant from the area that has build their restaurant solely on the historic site. And so when people go to eat there it is also like almost eating at the Fort. Having this done will anticipate a lot of people to go see the Fort in reality not just virtually if they have the chance to do so.

Bent's old Fort reconstructed in the Virtual World

Bent's Old Fort is a historic site in La Junta. High school and college students from the area were given an opportunity to recreate this historic site online using Immersive education. Of course this task is not easy and it will not get done quickly. it will take about two years for those students to fully complete this historic virtual world. They are currently working every Wednesday to complete the task. Also they are using Minecraft to build Bent's Old Fort.

Technology has been increasing through out the years and it is only becoming more and more accessible. Having a historic site available online betters the education of many to see what La Junta has. This could be a start to something great. I'm sure that if those students succeed in this process that there will be more historic sites from around the world to be seen virtually.
