In the first section of this website it explained the History of Immersive education through the education grid.
No company can take control of the work that the person owns while using the education grid. Also any work that someone does in second life can be transferred and used again in education grid.
It then went into the legal liability and how students and adults are able to use this program. There are no fake names allowed to secure a safe and private environment. especially for teacher who would like to use the program for a class.
Schools have complete control over who has access to their virtual world and also there are no anonymous held by the education grid. There is also no age restriction to who can use the education grid. Teachers work with certain virtual worlds that best fits their students.
